1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Curator AI ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Curator AI is a mobile application that allows you to:

• Create and manage home inventory records
• Organize items by homes, locations, and categories
• Upload and store photos and documents
• Generate inventory reports
• Sync data across your devices via iCloud (optional)
• Track maintenance schedules and warranties

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Curator AI. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

4. License Grant

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

• Download and install the App on devices you own or control
• Use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes
• Use the App in accordance with these Terms and applicable laws

5. Restrictions

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
• Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the App
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the App
• Use automated systems or software to extract data from the App
• Resell, rent, lease, or distribute the App to third parties

6. Subscription Terms

6.1 Subscription Plans

Curator AI offers the following subscription options:

• Monthly Subscription: $4.99/month
• Annual Subscription: $34.99/year

6.2 Free Trial

New subscribers may receive a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged until the trial period ends. Cancel anytime during the trial to avoid charges.

6.3 Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

6.4 Managing Subscriptions

You can manage and cancel your subscription through your Apple ID settings:

1. Open Settings on your iOS device
2. Tap your name at the top
3. Tap Subscriptions
4. Tap Curator AI
5. Tap Cancel Subscription

7. Your Content and Data

7.1 Ownership

You retain all rights to the content you create and upload in Curator AI (photos, descriptions, documents, etc.). We do not claim ownership of your content.

7.2 Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

• The accuracy of your inventory data
• The content you upload (photos, documents)
• Backing up your important data
• Ensuring you have rights to any content you upload

8. Data and Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the App, you agree to our Privacy Policy.

8.1 Data Storage

• Local data is stored on your device
• iCloud data (if enabled) is stored in your personal iCloud account
• You are responsible for backing up important data

8.2 Data Loss

We are not responsible for any loss of data, including:

• Device failure or loss
• iCloud sync issues
• Accidental deletion
• Software bugs or errors

We strongly recommend exporting important data regularly as backups.

9. Disclaimers

9.1 "AS IS" Service

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9.2 Not Insurance or Financial Advice

Curator AI is an organizational tool. It is NOT:

• Insurance or a substitute for insurance
• Professional financial or appraisal advice
• A guarantee of item values or replacement costs
• Legal advice regarding property or possessions

Consult qualified professionals for insurance, appraisal, or legal matters.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, service interruptions or data loss, or damages arising from your use or inability to use the app.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months preceding the claim (or $50 if greater).

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:

• Posting updated Terms in the App
• Sending an in-app notification
• Updating the "Last Updated" date

Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Apple-Specific Terms

13.1 Acknowledgment

You acknowledge that:

• These Terms are between you and us, not Apple
• Apple is not responsible for the App or its content

13.2 Third-Party Beneficiary

Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and have the right to enforce them against you.
